Returns are a second application sitting behind the shop. We examine how a buyer starts a return, what the portal allows, how warehouse receiving is recorded, and whether the refund or credit matches the original capture and the item that was received.

We sample completed returns, refused returns, exchanges, and store-credit cases. Where a marketplace sits in the middle, we include the marketplace’s own return clock if it governs the money.

The letter states where the path is safe to operate and where a buyer can be credited for the wrong SKU, twice, or not at all. This engagement is available on its own or as a follow-on after a storefront audit.
